The cardiopulmonary rehabilitation Department at Faith Community Hospital provides exercise programs and education for patients with heart and breathing disorders.

To enter the Cardiac Rehab program, patients must have a referral from their physician and a qualifying diagnosis, such as myocardial infarction, coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG), coronary angioplasty/stenting, heart valve repair/replacement, or stable angina.

In Pulmonary Rehab, patients must also have a physician referral and a qualifying diagnosis, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, chronic bronchitis, or asthma.

Cardiac-monitored exercise sessions are provided on equipment, such as a treadmill, arm ergometer, and Nustep recumbent stepper. We also perform cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function testing, and holter monitoring.

Our goal is to restore patients to their optimal physiological, psychological, social, vocational, and emotional status.
